Where do I check my vehicle in?
Vehicles need to be checked in at the River Heads Property Sales office (3/54 Ariadne St, River Heads) in the River Heads Shopping Village just down from the IGA supermarket. Our office hours are 8:30am – 5 pm 7 days a week. We can provide service outside of these hours by appointment (extra fees may apply).
Do you offer EV charging?
Yes we can provide access to charging for $20 extra on top of price. Customers must provide own charging cable.
How do I get to the Kingfisher Bay office?
The Kingfisher Bay office is just a short walk (20m) down the veranda from our office at the shopping centre, they will check you in if you are staying at the resort.
How do I get to the barge?
If you are doing a tour or staying at Kingfisher Bay resort there is a shuttle bus at the shops that will take you to the barge. If not we can provide transport.
Is your parking undercover?
Yes, in fact we are the only undercover full lock up facility in River Heads. Kingfisher Bay have an outdoor carpark but if you want undercover you must book directly with us. We will valet your car to our secure undercover parking facility for your convenience.
Have I pre-paid for my parking?
No, we don’t take pre payments for our parking, all fees must be paid in cash on the day of arrival. If you have pre-paid for parking it is in the outdoor carpark with Kingfisher Bay. If you do want undercover parking make sure you advise Kingfisher that you don’t require parking with them.
What happens when I come back from Fraser Island?
You will need to advise your return date and time to us upon check in and we will have your vehicle waiting at our office on your return. A shuttle bus runs between the barge and the shopping centre.
Do you offer long term parking solutions?
We do offer long term parking for residents or staff working on Fraser Island, please contact us for a quote.
How long have you been operating?
We have been operating our parking in River Heads since 2006 and it is the cheapest way to park your car securely on the mainland.
I’m flying out of Hervey Bay airport and want secure parking, can you help?
Yes we can, we offer an airport shuttle by appointment for people travelling to Lady Elliot Island or anywhere else out of Hervey Bay airport. There is a $10 shuttle fee (for 4 passengers and luggage) each way.
Do I need to book?
Booking within 48 hours of your departure are recommended, however we happily take walk in bookings if there is space available.
I have a high top camper, will my vehicle fit in your garage?
Absolutely, we have a 3.5m high shed so we can fit in just about every type of vehicle.
